Christmas Choir Concert to be held December 13th

Our Christmas Choir concert will be held at the Fisherman's Net on Sunday, December 13th at 6:00 p.m.  We invite you to join our church family for a quiet night of beautiful music and reflection on the wonderful gift of God's Son.

What a Great Harvest Party!

By the time our Sunday School director Linda Mazek and her team of faithful and hardworking volunteers got through setting up for the Harvest Party last Saturday our sanctuary was rendered virtually unrecognizable.  From the haystacks, the scarecrow and pumpkins at the front entrance to the various stations of games and jumping tents inside our church was transformed into a kids wonderland.  The room was packed with excited kids in their colorful costumes and their parents, everyone clearly happy to be there.  Tom Zito gathered the kids and told them about "This Little Light of Mine" in story and song and illustrated it by carving a pumpkin on the spot.  Linda Thero and Carol McHugh kept the treats stocked on the kitchen counter.  At the end of the evening, as the last of the families walked to their cars and the workers surveyed the wreckage they slowly, wearily, but happily, started vacuuming up hay, candy wrappers and mopping up spills.  We saw many new faces in church the next morning.  It couldn't have been a bigger success. 

Thanks to all who made such a difference to so many families that evening!
