Abigayle Ministries Return Baby Bottles
In case you were late on returning your baby bottle for the bottle drive at Abigayle's, we will still pick them up this coming Sunday and next. We also need the bottle back as we reuse them. Thanks, Russ O.

Bible Studies
The bible studies will resume on Wednesday, January 25th at the home of Curt and Suzanne Sorrentino, and at the building. Classes begin at 7:00 pm. This series of teachings given by R.C. Sproul cover 12 events in the gospels. He discusses each of these occurrences, their theological placement, and their significance in layman’s terms. The events in the life of Christ include the Incarnation, the Infancy Hymns, the child Jesus in the temple, the Baptism of Jesus, His triumphal entry in Jerusalem, and the Last Supper. Bible study forms are available on the table outside the kitchen. Please fill one out (couples please fill out separate forms), and leave in the place provided.

Tithe Reports and Member Updates
The 2011 tithe reports are in the mailing process. A sheet to update your contact information for the Member Address Directory will be included. If you wish to be in the updated directory, please fill out the update form and drop it in the collection basket, or in the basket on the welcome table. If there is no change to your information, just write “no change” on the form. Extra forms are on the welcome table.

Parents:
Please take your children to the rest room before Sunday School to minimize the need to disrupt the children’s lessons.

“Rubenstein, the great musician, once said, “If I omit practice one day, I notice it; if two days, my friends notice it; if three days, the public notice it.” It is the old doctrine, ‘Practice makes perfect.’ We must continue believing, continue praying, continue doing His will.” ~Streams in the Desert

Christmas Day at the Net

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord...Luke 2:11

Pastor Appreciation Day and Alex's Birthday

We had a special day to honor our Pastor Alex for Pastor Appreciation today on his birthday!

The church prayed the prayer Alex prays over us each Sunday:
"May the Lord Bless you and keep you,
May the Lord make His face shine upon you,
and be gracious unto you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you
and give you peace."

We presented Alex with a photo memory book:

Our Annual Church Picnic 2011

Thank you Randy and Cindy for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of heaven on earth again! We were blessed with perfect weather and wonderful fellowship.

Women's Retreat Report

Our weekend retreat at the beautiful Capuchin retreat center was a wonderful time of fellowship and rejuvenation in the Lord.

Our Mission Statement

Our mission as the Fisherman’s Net Church is to be a valuable part of the spread of
God’s word in Southeast Michigan.

A place where the broken can come and become whole through
God’s word and the Holy Spirit.

A place where Believers can be groomed to maturity in Jesus Christ
and sent out to recover the lost.

A place our children can learn of the gift of salvation and
begin their spiritual walk with Jesus Christ.
